The Challenge of Movement Disorders’ Seminar
A one-day professional development seminar for allied health professionals was held in Melbourne in November 2009. The seminar explored diagnosis, management and best practice interventions in relation to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP), Multiple Systems Atrophy (MSA) and Cortical Basal Degeneration (CBD). It provided an insight into these conditions as well as practical advice and strategies for assisting patients and their cares. For more information: Download the Event Program here

Insights into PSP
PSP Australia collaborated with Parkinson's Victoria to present the Insights into PSP seminar on 4 March 2009 at Bethlehem Hospital, Melbourne. The free seminar was attended by over 70 people living with PSP and their families and carers as well as health professionals. Speakers included Associate Professor David Williams as well as health and allied health specialists and carers speaking from personal experience. A lively 'Question and Answer' session followed, where participants were able to raise questions and share their experiences with the professionals and people living with PSP present.

We hope to conduct similar sessions in the future.
